Rescue Me ID: 18-01-22-00135Charlie (male)

Cavalier Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young puppy. They're so new and fresh with every possibility open to them. That's the case unless they're unwanted and at risk of euthanasia at a high- kill shelter. We're so grateful for the efforts of our great New Mexico rescuer in saving Charlie...she could see that his temperament was so sweet and kind that she couldn't allow him to be euthanized. Farfel's was immediately contacted by Charlie's rescuer...we were thrilled to welcome this loving puppy into our rescue. It turns out that Charlie, at just about 12 weeks old and 5 lbs (expected to be approximately 12 - 15 lbs ... (Read More)when full-grown) is so loving and so very sweet that it's been a fun and rewarding experience for his rescuer and foster mom. Charlie is like a blank slate...open and curious about everything around him. If he continues this regimen of socialization that promote positive relationships with other dogs and bonding with humans...Charlie will become a well-adjusted and very loving adult companion. Charlie is a gorgeous Cavalier/Terrier mix puppy (this was a guess by the vet) with a shining, cottony-soft coat that speaks of his breed mix. Charlie's sweet and cuddly demeanor is just who he is...he appears to be more snuggly and a bit more mellow than your average crazy puppy. If Charlie is treated kindly with clear behavioral guidelines, he will become a well-adjusted guy who respects his people as his leaders. A family that loves Charlie like crazy is exactly the type of folks we're searching for for this silly, entertaining and very loving puppy. We also feel it's very important that he is provided with exercise and mental stimulation. Charlie will be overjoyed when his future holds walks along Colorado paths enjoying the sunshine. Socializing with dog-loving neighbors will definitely speak to the engaging nature of this adorable puppy. We'd love a family for Charlie that spends lots of time at home.. and chooses to include a fuzzy best friend in their activities. Charlie can be taught that the car is a fun place that leads to great adventures out in the community. He can therefore accompany his family just about anywhere with the assurance that he'll be a loving and social guy. Charlie will be arriving in Boulder unfixed due to his very young age...Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs in regard to his neuter, microchip and any additional puppy shots he might require if our Denver vet is used. Charlie will require a commitment to periodic grooming. Lots of sudsy baths and serious brushing combined with great nutrition (a salmon oil supplement would be great!) will keep this puppy's coat healthy, silky-soft and matt-free. Charlie will be arriving on transport in Denver in late January (we'll confirm the date as soon as it's finalized). Applications are currently being accepted for this extremely sweet and cuddly best friend (and amazing lap dog). An application can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If interested, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730. **PLEASE NOTE: If you're truly interested in adopting Charlie, please be sure to fill out our adoption application. It's the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving guy. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit an adoption application. Thanks so much for choosing rescue. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 18-01-22-00081Rigby (male)

Cavalier Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Rigby is an incredibly cute ball of cottony fur that climbs into your heart (and lap) with a wag and a kiss. What isn't clear in this shelter photo is how truly beautiful this dog is with the stunning chestnut and white streaks that run through his soft coat. Once he gets a sudsy bath and brushing ...Rigby will absolutely be one of the most adorable guys around. At just about 18 - 24 months old and 13 lbs, Rigby is a perfect size to accompany his family just about anywhere a sweet small dog is welcome... while being large enough to be an active walker enjoying the sunshine and trails with his family. Rigby is every bit the young ... (Read More)guy...fun and active. But at the same time he is a happy and well-behaved pup once he's used to his environment. At this early point in Rigby's development, he loves almost everyone..be it human or canine. We want to nurture this positive vision of the world by matching Rigby to a family who expresses their devotion for him in many different ways. We'd like Rigby to attend positive reinforcement group obedience group classes to be the very best adult dog he's capable of being (Farfel's is happy to provide a list of force-free trainers in your area). We also feel Rigby would be most comfortable with an adult family or one with older, dog-crazy kids where voices are softer and the energy is calmer. Right now, Rigby is a blank slate who will soak up positive feedback with every effort to be the best behaved and most cuddly guy around. Rigby is so loyal that he can easily be a constant companion - he would love nothing more than being out and about...trips to the store (he's a great window-shopping friend), lap-sitting or even a place at a pet-friendly workplace would be awesome for this social guy. Alvin is flexible enough that he can be introduced to virtually any situation...and if there is love and gentle guidance...he can succeed. Rigby has the stunning coat and cottony-soft hair that speaks of both breeds in his mix. He will therefore require a commitment to periodic grooming and great nutrition (a supplement of salmon oil would be perfect) to keep his coat cottony-soft and matt-free. We're requested that Rigby be neutered prior to his transport to Denver. We're not optimistic that this will occur. If it doesn't...Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Rigby's neuter and microchip after his arrival in Colorado if our Denver area vet is used. Rigby is arriving on transport in Denver on Saturday 1/27/18. Applications are currently being accepted for our sweet pup. If interested in this adorable ...and very cuddly and loving best friend, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730. Rescue Me ID: 18-01-21-00001Skye (male)

Lab Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Skye could be that dream come true pup for retirees who love spending their time with a kind and loyal dog who is the most devoted companion around. There's no question that Skye would also do well with gentle older kids who enjoy the fun that a sweet and very loving dog brings to a family. Skye has such an engaging temperament, he would be a perfect best friend. If baseball practice, hanging out with friends or a hike is the order of the day, you can always count Skye in. His friendly personality is always welcome and enjoyed. Skye loves to play and is entertaining in his antics, energy and the love he wants to show to everyone who is kind ... (Read More)to him. The shelter vet identified Skye as a 7 month old, 40 lb (anticipated to be approximately 45 lbs when full-grown) Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog mix. We can't absolutely commit to Skye being this exact breed mix, but we can commit to him being a very sweet, lovable and cuddly guy. Skye's sad story is all too common in a scary, high-kill Texas shelter..but who could ignore Skye's beautiful face with the dark eyes that hold so much wisdom. He also has an adorable, friendly manner and a desire to bond with anyone who is kind and shows him the love and respect he hasn't had in his life. Skye will then be a loyal and devoted best friend and before you know it... he's gently loving you with a wag and a hug. The awesome Texas rescuer recognized all of this and knew that she had to save Skye's life. She contacted us at Farfel's Rescue describing what a sweet, kind and engaging guy Skye is...and her hope to send him on transport to a new life in Colorado. She had absolutely no doubt that there was a home out there that would love, nurture and want to make this wonderful guy a permanent member of their dog-crazy family. Skye's beautiful pure white coat currently looks shelter tired. He will require a commitment to periodic baths/brushing and great nutrition (a salmon oil supplement would be perfect) to keep his coat cottony-soft and very healthy. Skye is so pleasant and friendly that he can be a part of any adventure....it can be a fun hike, a visit with dog-loving friends, a car ride or just an afternoon spending time together plopped down on the couch - all of this would speak to Skye's nature. We aren't open to a home for Skye where everyone spends their days working full-time outside of the home....we'd like Skye to get more time and attention than is possible with that lifestyle Skye will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Friday 2/2/18. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If you're interested in this very sweet and loving best friend, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Skye, please be sure to fill out our adoption application. Rescue Me ID: 18-01-20-00397Chai (female)

Corgi Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Our sweet and beautiful Chai couldn't be more loving no matter how hard she tried. Chai is a 12 - 18 month old, 15 lb Corgi/Cattle Dog mix that is just waiting to be the love of someone's life. The Corgi/Cattle Dog has become a popular designer breed mix in the last few years. Their excellent temperaments, super intelligence and smaller size speak to active families who would like a hiking partner as well as an easy to train family member and lap dog. Their smaller size allows them to accompany their people everywhere a well-behaved, smaller dog is welcome. It makes perfect sense that these beautiful dogs are so desirable for families ... (Read More)with dog-loving kids. Farfel's rescues almost every Corgi and Cattle Dog that is in need of our help with confidence they will have great personalities and be loyal and loving family members. Chai has all these wonderful traits and was described by her Kansas foster mom as just about PERFECT once comfortable! Chai has had a challenging period of time but is now safe and soundČ'Ř|never to be cold or hungry again. With it allČ'Ř|Chai doesn't hold a grudge and desires only to be the best companion possible. Since Chai is so young, she's somewhat of a blank slateČ'Ř|open to all possibilities if treated kindly and with respect. Group training classes with her family and a positive reinforcement trainer would truly serve both Chai and her people. Together they will learn the skills for Chai to be a companion that is well-behaved and looks toward her people for leadership. It also creates strong bonds of respect between pup and family. Farfel's Rescue is happy to provide a list of force-free trainers in your area. Chai tends to be a happy-go-lucky girl who loves life and responds so well to love and time spent together (hugs and kisses are absolutely awesome)... and of course some great treats are always a wonderful option. Chai gets very attached to those she loves and before you know it, is on her way to her favorite people's lap for belly rubs and soft touches. Chai loves to come along (and is very portable at 15 lbs)..be it to a dog-friendly workplace, a hike on a Colorado trail, a vacation or just socializingČ'Ř|Chai would love to be there as Companion #1. She has such a pleasant personality and is low-maintenance enough to fit in just about anywhere. We envision Chai as an only-dog or a companion to another like-sized dog in a home that will provide her with exercise and stimulation (so important for every companion dog). Chai enjoys other dogs and cats and would form strong bonds with them. She'd also be very happy to be a single dog in a very involved family...she'd be ecstatic to get all the attention for the first time in her life. Chai wouldn't be happy spending long hours aloneČ'Ř|she is far too people-oriented to be happy with that. A retiree or a person who works either part-time or from home would be great. Chai would love the companionship and consistency of those relationships. Being a young dog, she'd also learn that she's loved and cared for. This is a lesson that results in a happy and confident adult dog. Chai will require a commitment to periodic baths/brushing and great nutrition. Her coat will lose the sad hair of her shelter days and will grow in cottony-soft and very healthy. We've requested that Chai be spayed prior to her arrival in Colorado. Since Kansas shelters in these small impoverished areas have very limited access to vets and funding...this isn't always possible. Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs for Chai's spay and microchip after her arrival in Colorado if our Denver vet is used. Chai will be arriving on transport in Denver on Thursday 1/25/18. If interested in this very sweet girl who will be a very loving and devoted best friend, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Chai, please be sure to fill out our adoption application. Rescue Me ID: 18-01-20-00063Austin (male)

Lab Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

The very first thing that Austin the Labrador Retriever/Beagle mix wants to make clear is that he's a love. In these photos, you're not aware of the golden shades that run through his gorgeous coat. It is with grooming, care and great nutrition that Austin's 's coat will show its gorgeous color and cottony-soft hair that speaks of his breed mix. His foster home (with so much love and caring) is new to Austin...his nose sniffs shyly at an outstretched hand...and then an ear to ear smile if it's a loving touch. And then before you know it, he is next to you on the couch. He's so happy there because his human (and canine) relationships are so ... (Read More)important to him. We have to remember that Austin came from a very tough and challenging shelter. This 18 - 24 month old, 35 lb (such a perfect medium size) Lab/Beagle mix truly lights up whens he feels likes he's done a good job... some serious hugging and kind words will send him over the moon. In this spirit of great behavior, Austin is working with his foster mom on mastering his house skills. The Lab/Beagle mix is a new and very popular breed mix called a Beagador. They're recognized for their great temperaments (excellent family dogs!), loyalty and the love that they bring to a home. They're also perfect for a family that loves Labs, but desires the smaller size of a Beagador. Austin 's foster mom has the following to say about this sweet guy: Austin is doing great. He's still a young guy and just needs patience and love...and he blossoms. I sit with him and we talk about what a wonderful guy he is and what a great future he has to look forward to...I'm not kidding that I think he understands! Just a bit shy initially (but he should be after what he's been through)...and then the sweetest love! Austin is so kind and cuddly... belly rubs and treats also are a gift to this sweet guy who has never had this kind of nurturing. Austin really enjoys my 2 dogs and they all have the greatest time playing in my yard. Austin is very respectful of them and they really enjoy his company. I was very pleasantly surprised at the level of his respect and gentle nature - when they tell him they have had enough play time, Austin backs off and keeps himself busy in a positive way. You would expect a young Lab/Beagle mix to be a bit crazy and have tons of energy..this isn't the case with Austin. He has exactly the right amount of energy. I've had the most amazing time hiking/walking with Austin. He's such a sweet soul that I have no anxiety when we meet other dogs or people on our daily walks. He's very appropriate and exhibits respectful behavior while still learning his leash skills. I can definitely picture Austin falling in love with hiking the mountains of Colorado. He would be perfect in a home where his family love the outdoors and desires to take Austin along on hikes, snow-shoeing and climbing adventures. I actually think Austin is extremely level-headed for a young guy. . He loves to play (once comfortable), run and beginnings of different types of ball play...but then loves to cuddle equally. His temperament is really developing! I just have to walk into the room and glance at him...it's head to toe waggy tail and huge smile (now that he knows me better). He is such a sweet puppy - anyone who welcomes Austin into their home is truly getting a gem of a dog! Austin 's SUMMARY Dark-eyed (with so much wisdom) Austin is such a people dog. He enjoys kids (no tail-pulling please) but they definitely must be very gentle and handle him kindly. We envision Austin with active retirees or a family with a bit older kids who want a beautiful and sweet dog as a family member and best companion. He would be so excited to spend his days in the company of his family. Being a Lab mix, Austin loves physical exercise as well as mental stimulation. He would be a natural in positive reinforcement group obedience classes. He would love the challenge and is so smart and wanting to please..he would excel (Farfel's is happy to provide a list of force-free trainers in your area). Austin would also be overjoyed to hike along Colorado paths..enjoying the sunshine and time with his people. His nature, while initially a bit shy, quickly becomes very joyful and his silly and fun puppyish nature takes over. Austin will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Friday 2/2/18. If interested in this fun-loving, sweet and very devoted young guy, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Austin, please be sure to fill out our adoption application. Rescue Me ID: 18-01-16-00206Will & Grace (female)

Yorkie Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

The story of Will and Grace is becoming all too common in today's world. They were found on the streets subjected to all the hazards that homeless dogs face. A good samaritan, wanting to protect them, turned these beautiful dogs into the shelter..not knowing that their local humane society was an extremely high-kill facility. Since there are virtually no adoptions in this small, very poor agricultural community, euthanasia comes quickly due to lack of space. Farfel's Rescue was contacted about the sweetness of this bonded pair, and we welcomed them into our rescue. Will is a beautiful (These photos don't come close to doing either of ... (Read More)these these amazing guys justice) Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle mix weighing 16 lbs and just about 2 years old. Grace is the same breed mix weighing 13 lbs and 9 - 12 months old. Both these pups were recognized during their processing at the shelter for their sweet personalities and very loving behavior. Our New Mexico rescuer is very compassionate and works tirelessly to save the lives of dogs that pass difficult temperament testing. She became an advocate for Will and Grace's rescue and made the arrangements for their ultimate transport to Colorado and a forever home where they would be truly loved and nurtured. Goodbyes and good wishes were said..and Will and Grace were on their way to be vetted and then on to a foster home to receive love, lots of belly rubs and the beginning of training on house skills and on-leash walking. These gorgeous Yorkie/Poodle mixes started their socialization immediately as they were introduced to their foster family of two kids 17 and 19, a smaller dog and two dog-crazy parents.. and they did great! The fact that was immediately obvious is that Will and Grace are a bonded pair! Their relationship is very soothing to them when they're together. Their foster provided the following information...Both these dogs are sweet and very friendly. Will tends to follow Grace and take his cues from her reactions (he's the more submissive of the two). Grace is an absolute cuddle-bug! She loves to play and have so much fun..and then climbs into a welcoming lap for belly rubs and a snooze. Will hangs back momentarily, and then following Grace's cue, up he goes as well for a hug and kind words. Farfel's Rescue made the immediate decision that as a bonded pair, we need to honor the power of Will and Grace's relationship. We're searching for a very loving and gentle family...it seems that retirees or a dog-crazy family that is home a great deal would be perfect for these two. If given the time and opportunity, Will and Grace will be an extremely bonded and devoted duo that will be a gift to their family. Will and Grace will be overjoyed with long walks with their favorite people. A beautiful Colorado trail will speak to their love of the outdoors and give them the exercise and mental stimulation that every dog requires for long-term happiness. Since Will and Grace only weigh 16 and 13 lbs, they're so portable that you can scoop them up into the car for a fun adventure or they'd fit under a plane seat for a visit to a dog-loving friend or relative. You can always count on these two to have sweet behavior! Once Will and Grace find their forever family, they will have their dreams come true. We feel that there was most likely a point in their lives when love was plentiful and belly rubs were the order of the day....we want that life for these beautiful dogs again. We feel that any family who is searching for lap dogs that will return their love (once comfortable) a million times over will fall in love with our awesome twosome. Will and Grace are truly a case of two is easier than one. They're always ready to cuddle with their people..but when life calls for their humans...Will and Grace are very capable of keeping each other busy and happy. These gorgeous YorkiePoos appear to be non-shedding pups..and considered to be hypoallergenic (although it's difficult to tell with certainty until their sad shelter coats grow out). They will therefore require a commitment to periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep their coats cottony-soft, healthy and matt-free. Will and Grace will be arriving on transport in Denver in mid-January (we'll update exact date as soon as it's finalized). If interested in this snuggly and sweet pair, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443- 7730. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Will and Grace, please be sure to fill out our adoption application. Rescue Me ID: 18-01-16-00083Ernie (male)

Schnauzer Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

The Schnauzer/Terrier mix is a perfect combo for those who are searching for an extremely smart, adorable and loyal family dog. Of utmost importance...both breeds are famous for their intelligence, devoted temperaments and extremely loving ways. Both are also known to be trustworthy and generally very kind and playful with humans and other dogs. Ernie is just a young guy and is learning about the ways of the world. He loves his neighborhood walks and hiking trails with his rescuer. Ernie is learning proper socialization skills - he's a very engaging and cuddly guy who draws a ton of loving attention and he eats it up! Any time a fun ... (Read More)adventure is the order of the day - count Ernie in! He's a young guy who can't wait to engage joyfully and energetically.. and then crash on the couch snuggling close to favorite humans and canines. Ernie is as cute as can be and a very sweet guy who favors the look and loyalty of the Schnauzer while taking on the very intelligent and engaging qualities..as well as the body structure of the Cairn Terrier. Ernie will require a commitment to periodic baths/brushing and great nutrition (salmon oil would be a great supplement for Ernie) to keep his coat healthy, gorgeous and matt-free. Ernie's sweet nature is just waiting to be enjoyed and appreciated...he makes close playmates everywhere he goes. Ernie is friendly (while perhaps initially shy) and that means everyone he meets has the potential to become a friend. You know when a loved one approaches, Ernie's tail starts the greeting and it wiggles up through his entire body ending in a smile. And if your lap is available, up Ernie goes to cuddle and snuggle and let you know the level of his devotion. Ernie is such a wonderful being...we think he represents the best qualities of his breeds. At about 24 or so months old and 18 lbs (perfect hiking or lap size), Ernie seems to be leaving behind the neglect and lack of love that made up his early life. He has become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please. The happier his family is with his behavior, the more he shines with his accomplishments. We would like to see Ernie in a home that includes him in family time and activities...he'd love to be involved and would thrive in a family that truly loves him and considers him a very important family member. Ernie would be a wonderful companion for retirees who have the time, desire and energy to be best friends with a truly adorable young dog. Ernie would be overjoyed to accompany his favorite people to the park, on neighborhood trails and even just riding shotgun running errands. Ernie doesn't require another dog to be happy.(as long as he gets both physical exercise and mental stimulation from his people). He does, however, enjoy his canine relationships with kind and gentle dogs who are smaller or of a similar size. Ernie is up to date on his vetting, but has yet to be neutered. We're hoping that he will be fixed when he arrives from New Mexico, however there are far too few vets for the number of dogs in this industrial area. If Ernie isn't neutered, Farfel's is happy tol cover all costs for him to be neutered and micro chipped at our vet in Denver to be in line with our commitment to be part of the solution to pet overpopulation. Ernie will arrive on transport in Denver in mid-January (we'll update as soon as date is finalized). If interested in this very loving and devoted best friend, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Ernie, please be sure to fill out our adoption application. It's the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving guy. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit an adoption application. Thanks so much for choosing rescue. (Less)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Franklin would be a perfect companion for anyone who is searching for a very sweet and loving lap dog that can accompany his family everywhere a great little dog is allowed. He's also social and would be thrilled with neighborhood walks..stopping periodically to talk with dog-loving neighbors. At just about 3.5 years old and 10 lbs, Franklin is so portable that he can be a full-time best friend..not only the world's greatest lap dog but a guy who would love car rides to fun places...mountain trails, parks and playing with his people and other like-sized dogs would be high on Franklin's list. It's always amazing to us at Farfel's Rescue ... (Read More)that these dogs with great temperaments...as well as very sweet and loving...end up in precarious situations. It just doesn't get much cuter than Franklin's scruffy Poodle face with the dark eyes that touch your soul. They're filled with so much wisdom and a bit of pain...you just want to hold this guy tight and let him know that life is going to be amazing from this moment on! Frankie was a last-minute save for us...he would have been euthanized in a dismal New Mexico shelter due to lack of space if a kind and compassionate rescuer hadn't stepped up. But how could they not have? This little dog is just so awesome with his whole life lying in front of him...a life in which he can bring so much joy to a special family. Frankie, as a young guy, is a blank slate waiting to learn about the world. With clear guidance and positive reinforcement group obedience classes (Farfel's is happy to provide a list of force-free trainers in your area), Franklin will learn great behavior and be a loyal and bonded companion. He is an all-time snuggler and will cuddle his way into any heart! Franklin's may be frightened initially at transport since rehoming is always scary ..but with love and nurturing, he will absolutely shine We envision Franklin with an active, dog-loving retired couple or individual...he would be overjoyed with the time he could spend in their company. It's not that Franklin is a needy guy...not at all...he just enjoys the company of his humans who love him like crazy for all his wonderful traits. Franklin likes older, dog-crazy children and enjoys playing with them. We would only be open to older kids who can be gentle and understanding that Franklin is a small guy and needs soft and gentle handling. For those family members who enjoy walks and time outside in the beautiful Colorado scenery, Dusty would love nothing more than to share the experience. He is always up for a walk together (still working on his leash skills and doing well), fascinated by the activity around him. He breathes in the air, so happy to be free of the dismal shelter environment. Then, maybe his favorite part...it's time to end the day with treats, belly rubs and a warm spot on the bed beside his favorite people. Franklin appears to be a non-shedding guy and will therefore require a commitment to periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep his coat cottony-soft, healthy and matt-free. Franklin will be arriving in Denver unfixed due to far too many dogs and not enough vets in this very poor area of New Mexico. Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Franklin's neuter and microchip if our Denver vet is used. Franklin will be arriving on transport in Denver on Saturday 1/13/18. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If you're interested in this very sweet, cuddly and fun-loving best friend, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com, fax to 303-443-7730 or mail a hard copy to Farfel's Farm 906 Pearl Street Boulder, CO 80302 **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Franklin, please be sure to fill out our adoption application. It's the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving guy. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit an adoption application. Thanks so much for choosing rescue. (Less)

Dachshund    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Eleanor is an elegant older lady that deserves far better than being turned into a high kill shelter for euthanasia. In her senior years, Eleanor is a very loving, low maintenance.. and SO sweet girl who just wants to snuggle and be a best friend to an individual or family that desires this pure love in their lives. Eleanor, at 11 years old or so and 6 lbs would be such a perfect companion for anyone who is searching for that very sweet lap dog. She will be by your side to hug and love on...these are always the most important thing to Elly! She's so tiny and portable that she can be a full-time best friend...accompanying her guardians ... (Read More)everywhere a small and very lovable dog is allowed. It's always amazing to us at Farfel's Rescue that these dogs with great and engaging temperaments..and as dignified as Elly end up in precarious situations. Eleanor was a last-minute save for us...she would have been euthanized in a dismal New Mexico shelter if kind rescuers hadn't stepped up. But how could they not have? This tiny sweetheart is just so awesome with lots of life left ...a life in which she can bring so much joy to a special family. Elly may be a bit shy initially as rehoming is challenging for any dog...but with love and nurturing, she will absolutely shine. We envision Elly with either retirees (she would be overjoyed with time spent and being at the center of a loving family) or a younger family who works at home or would be able to take Elly to a dog-friendly workplace. A like-sized and age canine friend would be great as well. Elly would enjoy the companionship and cuddle times with a furry best friend. For those family members who enjoy walks and time outside along beautiful Colorado paths ...Eleanor would love nothing more than to share the experience. Her foster loves daily neighborhood walks and Elly always comes along. For a while, Eleanor enjoys walking along...and then up she goes into a backpack to enjoy the view from above. She is always up for these daily walks..fascinated by the activity around her. She breathes in the air...so happy to be free of the dismal shelter environment. And then, maybe her favorite part...it's time to end the day with hugs, belly rubs and a warm spot on the bed close beside her beloved family members. As a wirehaired Doxy, Elly is either a non-shedding or very lightly shedding girl. As is evident in her sad shelter photos, Elly's coat hasn't been well cared for. Any family interested in adopting Elly will need to commit to coat care. She will require periodic baths/brushing and great nutrition to allow her hair to grow in cottony- soft and healthy. Eleanor will be arriving on transport in Denver on Saturday 1/13/18. Applications are currently being accepted for this very sweet and devoted best friend and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. Rescue Me ID: 18-01-08-00200Ivan (male)

Yorkie Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Ivan is an incredibly cute ball of cottony fur that climbs into your heart (and lap) with a wag and a kiss. What isn't clear in this shelter photo is how truly beautiful this tiny dog is with the stunning golden streaks that run through his soft coat. Once he gets a sudsy bath and brushing ...Ivan will absolutely be one of the most adorable guys around. At just about 3.5 years old and a tiny 3 lbs, Ivan is a perfect size to accompany his family just about anywhere a sweet small dog is welcome. Just grab a carrier bag and Ivan snuggles down and is the perfect companion from his perch from above. Ivan is every bit the young guy...fun and ... (Read More)active. But at the same time he is a happy and well-behaved pup (once he's used to his environment) who is a fun and engaging personality. He's likely to express himself with his wagging tail and excited kisses of love. At this early point in Ivan's development, he loves almost everyone..be it human or small canines. We want to nurture this positive vision of the world by matching Ivan to a family who expresses their devotion for him in many different ways. This would mean spending lots of time together and exposing Ivan to many situations out in the world. We also feel Ivan would be most comfortable with an adult family or one with older, very gentle dog-crazy kids where voices are softer and the energy is calmer. Right now, Ivan is a blank slate who will soak up positive feedback with every effort to be the best behaved and most cuddly guy around. Ivan is so loyal that he can easily be a constant companion - he would love nothing more than being outdoors in the sunshine for a walk, always loving to socialize with kind neighbors. Trips to the store (he's a great window-shopping friend), lap-sitting or even a place at a pet-friendly workplace would be great for Ivan's socialization. Ivan is flexible enough that he can be introduced to virtually any situation...and if there is love and gentle guidance...he can succeed. Ivan has the beautiful and cottony-soft coat that speaks of both breeds in his mix. He will therefore require periodic grooming and great nutrition (a supplement of salmon oil would be great) to keep his coat cottony-soft, very healthy and matt-free. We're requested that Ivan be neutered prior to his transport to Denver. We're not optimistic that this will occur. If it doesn't...Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Ivan's neuter and microchip if our Denver area vet is used. Ivan is arriving on transport in Denver on Saturday 1/13/18. Applications are currently being accepted for our sweet pup. Rescue Me ID: 18-01-08-00098Annie-ADOPTION PENDING (female)

Border Collie Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Whenever a sweet and engaging Border Collie mix gets into an urgent situation, Farfel's rescuers like to help. We find that dogs of this breed mix are engaging, super-smart and make excellent family companions. They are a great fit for most active households and are extremely loyal companions for most age groups as well as other dogs. Annie is one of these cuddly, kind and very sweet herding dogs.. The New Mexico vets believe Annie to be a 5-6 month old, 32 lb (anticipated full-grown weight to be approximately 40 lbs) Border Collie mixed with a bit of Australian Cattle Dog (this assessment was based on body structure, markings and ... (Read More)personality). Once comfortable in her surroundings, Annie is SO smart and a playful and very silly/entertaining girl..very true to typical Border Collie and Aussie traits. Annie is so puppyish in her enthusiasm for all people that are kind to her. As you can see in her photo, Annie was very worried in the scary shelter (who wouldn't be?), but once she was removed from the overwhelming noise and the harsh environment of a high kill shelter and in the care of a foster ..she started to heal. And soon, Annie's face began to lose the worried look she wore while waiting for rescue. Her love of life has started to return and a waggy tail and a kiss shows her devotion to her new foster. Most rescue dogs are initially a bit shy (rehoming can be confusing and a bit overwhelming). Once they're responsibly placed in a home with a loving family that provides frequent socialization, nurturing, love and belly rubs.. they will begin to shine. Annie is one of these pups...she's a blank slate that's just waiting for the commitment of a great family. Her love will know no bounds as she becomes a loyal best friend (this breed mix is known for their loyalty!) and the greatest snuggler ever. We're searching for a family that spends lots of time at home...or loves to take a very sweet dog along with them. Dog-loving and active retirees would be perfect. Alice would be a very loving best friend...overjoyed with the time spent together and the loving attention she would receive. A younger family that works from home would be great as well. Annie would be overjoyed to have older kids to play with in the yard and to hike alongside on the trails of Colorado mountains. Border Collies as well as Aussies are famous for their sharp intelligence! They use their intellect when they engage with their families and participate in training classes.. and in activities like agility and herding. It's for this reason that we feel strongly that Annie should attend positive reinforcement training classes. She'll be a star (which builds high self-esteem) while bonding with her family and learning the skills (in a positive way) to become a well-behaved adult dog that can accompany her family out in the world with great behavior. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of force-free trainers in your area. Annie has the potential for a beautiful coat with shades of black and the whitest of white running through it. Her coat looks shelter-tired right now. With a commitment to periodic grooming and great nutrition, Annie's hair will return to the classic beauty of the herding dog breeds. We've requested that Annie be spayed prior to her arrival in Colorado. Since New Mexico shelters have very limited access to vets and funding...this isn't always possible. Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs for Annie's spay and microchip after her arrival if our Denver vet is used. Annie will be arriving on transport in Denver on Saturday 1/13/18. Applications are currently being accepted for this very sweet and devoted best friend and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If interested, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Annie, please be sure to fill out our adoption application.     We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable puppy. They're so new and fresh with every possibility open to them. That's the case unless they're at a high-kill shelter at risk of euthanasia. We're so grateful for the efforts of our great New Mexico rescuer in saving Aspen...she could see that her temperament was so sweet and kind that she couldn't allow her to be euthanized. Farfel's was immediately contacted by Aspen's rescuer and we happily accepted the beautiful Aspen into our rescue. It turns out that Aspen, at just 6 months old and 37 lbs (expected to be approximately 45 lbs when full-grown) is a gorgeous, ... (Read More)extremely intelligent puppy (true to her breeds) and so very sweet that it's been a fun and rewarding experience for her New Mexico rescuer. Aspen is like a blank slate...open and curious about everything around her. If she continues this regimen of socialization that promote positive relationships with other dogs and bonding with her humans...Aspen will become a well-adjusted and very loving and loyal best friend. Aspen is a gorgeous Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd mix puppy. This was the opinion of Aspen's New Mexico vet and determined by her coloring/markings, stature and larger size that speaks of the Australian Shepherd. Aspen has a shining, cottony-soft coat. She will require a commitment to periodic baths/brushing as well as great nutrition. With this protocol, Aspen's coat (with the gorgeous markings) will always shine with good health. Aspen's sweet and very engaging demeanor (once comfortable) is just who she is...she also appears to be more snuggly than your average crazy puppy. Aspen will sit quietly next to us on the couch loving the petting and a soft voice for a long time...but of course puppy energy will ultimately call. Off Aspen goes to run and play in the yard with our 2 dogs. If she is treated kindly with clear behavioral guidelines, Aspen will become a well-adjusted pup who respects her people as her leaders. Aspen, having the amazing intelligence of her breed mix, is a perfect candidate for positive reinforcement group training classes. She will shine with self-esteem as she masters the skills that will enable her to accompany her family everywhere a well-behaved dog is welcome. With these skills, Aspen will also be able to participate in agility or herding...it's what these dogs are bred for and love.. and utilizes their natural skills. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of force-free trainers in your area. A family that loves Aspen like crazy is exactly the type of folks we're searching for for this sometimes silly, entertaining and very loving puppy. We also feel it's very important that she is provided with exercise and mental stimulation. Aspen will be overjoyed when her future holds hikes along beautiful Colorado paths enjoying the sunshine. Socializing with other hikers will definitely speak to the engaging nature of this social and sweet puppy. We'd love a family for Aspen that spends lots of time at home.. and chooses to include a fuzzy best friend in their activities. Aspen can be taught that the car is a fun place that leads to great adventures out in the community. She can therefore accompany her family just about anywhere with the assurance that she'll be a social and well-behaved pup. Aspen will be arriving in Boulder unfixed due to far too few vets in this very poor area of New Mexico. If our Denver vet is used, Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs for Aspen's spay, microchip and any additional puppy shots she might require. Lab Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

The very first thing that Porter the Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog mix wants to make clear is that he's a love. In these photos, you're not aware of the silver, gold and whitest of white shades that run through his gorgeous coat. It is with grooming, care and great nutrition that Porter 's coat will show its gorgeous colors and cottony-soft hair that speaks of his breed mix. His foster home (with so much love and caring) is new to Porter...his nose sniffs shyly at an outstretched hand...and then an ear to ear smile if it's a loving touch. And then before you know it, he is next to you on the couch. He's so happy there because ... (Read More)his human (and canine) relationships are so important to him. We have to remember that Porter came from a very tough and challenging shelter. This 18 - 24 month old, 45 - 50 lb Lab/Aussie mix truly lights up whens he feels likes he's done a good job... some serious hugging and kind words will send him over the moon. In this spirit of great behavior, Porter is working with his foster mom on mastering his house skills. Porter 's foster mom has the following to say about Porter: Porter is doing great. He's still a young guy and just needs patience and love...and he blossoms. I sit with him and we talk about what a wonderful guy he is and what a great future he has to look forward to...I'm not kidding that I think he understands! Just a bit shy initially (but he should be after what he's been through...and then the sweetest love! Porter is so kind and cuddly... belly rubs and treats also are a gift to this sweet guy who has never had this kind of nurturing. It's important to note that Porter was removed from the shelter environment (due to a great temperament and just a great personality) and placed in a foster home. He was given the recognition to be trusted to work with children at a school...playing games and providing therapy hugs. He would be excellent in a home with active children who desire a full-time best friend. Porter really enjoys (and even loves) my 2 dogs and they all have the greatest time playing in my yard. Porter is very respectful of them and they really enjoy his company. I was very pleasantly surprised at the level of his respect and gentle nature - when they tell him they have had enough play time, Porter backs off and keeps himself busy in a positive way. You would expect a young Lab/Aussie mix to be a bit crazy and have tons of energy..this isn't the case with Porter. He has exactly the right amount of energy. I've had the most amazing time hiking/walking with Porter. He's such a sweet soul that I have no anxiety when we meet other dogs or people on our daily walks. He's very appropriate and exhibits respectful behavior while still learning his leash skills. I can definitely picture Porter falling in love with hiking the mountains of Colorado. He would be perfect in a home where his family love the outdoors and desires to take Porter along on hikes, snow-shoeing and climbing adventures. I actually think Porter is extremely level-headed for a young guy. . He loves to play (once comfortable), run and beginnings of different types of ball play...but then loves to cuddle equally. His temperament is really developing! I just have to walk into the room and glance at him...it's head to toe waggy tail and huge smile (now that he knows me better). He is such a sweet puppy - anyone who welcomes Porter into their home is truly getting a gem of a dog! Porter 's SUMMARY Golden-eyed Porter is such a people dog. He enjoys kids of all ages (no tail-pulling please) but they definitely must be very gentle and handle him kindly. We envision Porter with active retirees or a family with a bit older kids who want a beautiful and sweet dog as a family member and best companion. He would be so excited to spend his days in the company of his family. Being a Lab mix, Porter loves physical exercise as well as mental stimulation. He would be a natural in positive reinforcement group obedience classes. He would love the challenge and is so smart and wanting to please..he would excel (Farfel's is happy to provide a list of force-free trainers in your area). Porter would also be overjoyed to hike along Colorado paths..enjoying the sunshine and time with his people. His nature, while initially a bit shy, quickly becomes very joyful and his silly and fun puppyish nature takes over. Porter will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Friday 1/11/18. Rescue Me ID: 17-12-27-00064George (male)

Cairn Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

What a sweet and kind Terrier mix our George is! Is that a Cairn or an Aussie Terrier...we're not sure but it's becoming a designer breed mix that is opportunistically being bred for their adorable looks, gorgeous coats and most of all...extreme intelligence with great temperaments to be a family dog. As a result of this popularity, these pups are being bred, sold for high prices and sometimes dumped if the breeder has any challenges. Farfel's Rescue is very happy to rescue these dogs and find them nurturing and committed homes. At 18 - 24 months old and 12 lbs, George is an incredibly beautiful guy (so difficult to tell in this shelter ... (Read More)photo of a very filthy...and extremely sad dog). George was a huge favorite at the high-kill New Mexico shelter he was in. The shelter director always said - We all know George has arrived when we see the wag that starts at his tail and becomes a full-blown body wiggle. That means George is greeting either a friend or anyone who has the potential to be a future playmate. He can definitely be initially shy, assessing the situation to make sure all is OK. This makes perfect sense as he's been through time spent at a very depressing high-kill shelter while his euthanasia date for space was almost upon us. I have to admit my bias toward George and that I was set on getting him to Farfel's in Colorado to begin a new life. When George was identified with a great temperament (and of course everyone at the shelter was in love by this point), Farfel's spoke up to bring him to safety in Colorado with hopes of a very loving forever family. Once he senses that all present are his friends, George is so warm and friendly that he always hopes every pat and kind word will turn into a beloved friend. Both people and other dogs are drawn to George for his kind attitude, gentle nature and fun-loving ways. He is learning to play and waits expectantly...with his eyes so bright and joyful..to run off again just because it's so fun. George seems to have just a bit of leash experience and is in the process of developing his skills. He seems to love the experience of walking on paths socializing with neighbors and other walkers . Farfel's Rescue has determined that George would be overjoyed to be part of a very involved and loving home where he is an active and important member of the family. We feel that this would be possible in an adult home (active retirees would be perfect) where George could spend lots of time with a family that loves his companionship. A younger dog-loving family that works out of the home or part-time would be great as well. He would be a great office foot-warmer and companion. George would be overjoyed to spend parts of the day together either hiking or walking the beautiful paths and trails of Colorado. Then at day's end, he's the ultimate snuggler and sleeps soundly through the night. George (like all dogs) would benefit from positive reinforcement group obedience classes that include the whole family - he is a super-smart guy who truly wants to please. Responsible training will give George the skills to be a well-behaved (and therefore truly pleasant) adult dog. Through this leadership by his family, the bond will strengthen and the relationship will be one of mutual respect and love. Farfel's is happy to provide a listing of excellet force-free trainers in your area. George appears to be a non-shedding or lightly shedding guy...although it's difficult to tell for certain until his sad shelter coat grows out into a healthy and stunning example of his Terrier lineage. George will require a commitment to periodic grooming and great nutrition (a salmon oil supplement would do wonders for the health and beauty of George's coat) to keep his hair cottony soft and matt-free. Geoge will be arriving on transport in Denver on Saturday 1/6/18. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If interested in this sweet and devoted best friend, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730. PLEASE NOTE: If you're truly interested in adopting George, please be sure to fill out our adoption application. It's the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving guy.     When Hayley's rescuer walked down the aisle of the dismal New Mexico shelter, she was shocked to see the beautiful (and extremely matted and sad) Hayley tucked tightly into a cage...her time was up. Farfel's immediately got an email describing how sweet and loving this tiny girl is..and the need to save her life. We immediately agreed and Hayley became a very treasured Farfel's dog. At just about 5 years old and about 8 lbs, this beautiful and cuddly dog is the ... (Read More)perfect age and size to be a constant companion (tiny dogs are so easy to take everywhere). At 5 years old, Hayley has left behind babyish behaviors while having many, many healthy and active years remaining. We'd love to match Hayley to a family that will spend lots of time with this very portable pup. We think Hayley would be the light of a retiree's life. She would blossom with the time and attention that they often share with their dog. A younger family that works from home would be great as well. She'd be an excellent foot-warmer and a loving presence in a home office. You can see a bit of a sign that this sweet girl has had difficult times. But not for her to be negative..a smile and a wag is more Hayley's style. It's clear that Hayley is leaving the pain behind...her general demeanor is very friendly and engaging. With this great attitude, Hayley will bring her sweetness and fun-loving personality to her forever family. Hayley would enjoy her days with another like-sized dog to snuggle and play with. They will provide each other with company and doggy-fun while the family is busy with other things. This is not an imperative if the family is very present and provides Hayley with exercise and mental stimulation. Hayley has the potential for a gorgeous, non-shedding coat that with great care and nutrition will come back to the gorgeous cottony softness that speaks of her breed mix. She will require a commitment to periodic grooming and hair care. A supplement like salmon oil will bring out the good health and stunning pure white of Hayley's coat. We've requested that Hayley be spayed prior to her transport to Colorado. We're hoping that this will occur. If it doesn't.. Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Katie's spay and microchip if our Denver vet is used. Hayley will be arriving on transport in Boulder in early January...we'll update the exact day when information is finalized. Applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and devoted best friend and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If interested, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730. If you're truly interested in adopting Hayley, please be sure to fill out our adoption application. It's the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving girl. We're sorry, but in most circumstances, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit an adoption application. Thanks so much for choosing rescue. (Less)

If you're searching for a devoted and loving best friend....Bear is the pup you want to have around! Bear, at just about 2.5 years old and approximately 6 lbs (the perfect size for neighborhood walks as well as lap time), is just naturally a lover ....when he looks at you with those dark, expressive eyes and sweet smile, your heart just has to melt. Bear is a truly beautiful Terrier..with Brussels Griffon in the mix..he has all the traits that make these very beautiful and personality-plus dogs one of the more popular breed mixes around. Bear enjoys his time with his rescuer so much that he joins her just about everywhere she ... (Read More)goes...it's important to Bear to be a true best friend! He loves his people and would definitely win a lap-dog (or couch hogger) award. Bear cuddles close with his beautiful head draped over his favorite person's leg...an occasional kiss from Bear is inevitable. He's a sensitive guy and derives so much joy from his time spent with kind, dog-loving people. Bear is a young, healthy guy who will love his family with all his heart. He would enjoy another kind and gentle dog to play with (although if his family is loving and present, Bear would do fine alone as well). He would love nothing more than to lie in the sunshine enjoying a beautiful day with a doggie or human friend. Bear would have so much fun exploring and taking walks along the Colorado paths. He is always open to new activities...just say the word and up he jumps for a car ride or just a sociable walk around the neighborhood. Bear is a very affectionate and loving dog. We would love to see him in a home with a family (older kids preferred so there's no tail-pulling or awkward carrying) or active retirees who have the time and love for a very loyal and kind dog. We'd hate to see Bear left alone all day while his family works full-time...we think he's too sensitive for that. He's such an amazing dog and just the right size and temperament to accompany his people just about anywhere. Farfel's Rescue would like to see Bear in a home where he'll get consistent stimulation, exercise and tons of hugs. A continuing group training class promotes great behavior and confidence for a smart little guy who is learning about the world..Farfel's is happy to provide a list of force-free trainers in your area. Bear has the gorgeous, non-shedding or lightly shedding coat of the purebred Terrier. Shedding is very difficult to determine when a dog just gets out of the shelter. With time, great nutrition and periodic grooming, the coat will become healthy and less likely to shed. The forever family that we're searching for will understand that a commitment to grooming and great nutrition is mandatory for the well-being and self-esteem of this beautiful little guy. Bear will not be neutered when he arrives in Denver - while we request it, there aren't enough vets to cover the needs of the vast number of homeless dogs in this part of New Mexico. Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Bear's neuter and microchip immediately after his arrival in Colorado if our Denver vet is used. Bear will be arriving on transport in Denver on Saturday 12/16/17. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If you're interested in this sweet and cuddly best friend, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com, fax to 303-443-7730 or mail a hard copy to Farfel's Farm 906 Pearl Street Boulder, CO 80302. PLEASE NOTE: If you're truly interested in adopting Bear, please be sure to fill out our adoption application. It's the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving guy. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit an adoption application. Thanks so much. (Less)
